Celena Aponte is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center where she designs learning and knowledge-sharing opportunities for entrepreneurs and small businesses through training and research to support their complex journey of growth in near real-time ways.

With over 10 years of international brand development experience as PR Director for some of the world’s biggest stars, and most recently as Data Strategist at Cisco for Americas Field Marketing Ms. Aponte connects insights and shapes narratives that help put ideas into action. As a lecturer at San Francisco State University, Ms. Aponte designed and teaches a Creativity and innovation course for business management undergrads focusing on creative problem solving. Constantly curious and a self-proclaimed learning monster, at the dinner table you’ll hear her talking about her love of ‘90s fashion, Italy, and people building companies that make our world better.

Her skillset includes program design, experience design, partnerships, writing, teaching, communications, content strategy, data strategy, web marketing, social media marketing, information architecture, human centered design, media relations, crisis communications, event management, agile, certified ScrumMaster, and certified ScrumProduct Owner.
