Ashwin Sanzgiri
Ashwin Sanzgiri is the Vice-President of Scaale Group and manages the global operations across Capital, Sales & Advisory. He has 
been instrumental in building Scaale’s Capital practice worldwide over the last 5 years. Born & brought up in Mumbai, India, Ashwin completed his Bachelor of Information Technology, Majors in Data Communication from the Queensland University of Technology, in Brisbane, Australia. He came back to Mumbai and took up an operational risk management role with Citigroup, where he led a team on a monumental project to comply and entitle all firewall rules across all Citigroup offices globally. He then joined the Symbiosis International University and completed his Masters of Business Administration, majoring in finance. Ashwin then took up a role with Deloitte, where he was instrumental in creating a consulting strategy for Basel II implementation. Next, he worked on launching the first private Health Maintenance Organization model project in 
India. Ashwin joined Scaale in the beginning of 2012 and has since built a strong team of young professionals across the globe that is focused on managing cross border angel investments, supporting VCs & PEs exit from their portfolio companies, driving international sales strategy for growth companies, and advising on captive innovation building for corporates.
Ashwin has been a runner and completed 5 full marathons including the New York City Marathon, an Olympic Triathlon, and an adventurous 500 KM cycling expedition in the Himalayas from Manali to Leh in India.
He lives with his wife Sania & daughter Samaira in Toronto, Canada.
