Former Manufacturing Investor Relations, Marketing and Business Development
Richard Arter served as an executive of Sun Hydraulics Corporation in Sarasota, FL, from 1991 until 2014, working primarily in the areas of Investor Relations, Marketing and Business Development. Prior to joining Sun Hydraulics, he spent ten years with the Warner & Swasey Company, a machine tool manufacturer headquartered in Cleveland, OH, serving in various marketing capacities. Mr. Arter holds a B.A. degree in Philosophy from Baldwin Wallace University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He is currently writing a book about work experiences in unusual cultures, covering more than 30 years in manufacturing environments.
