Brian Caswell: EDIF
Brian Caswell is the Founder and President of the Economic Development Investment Fund (EDIF). He provides key leadership and financing assistance to EDIF.
Brian Caswell started his career in the banking industry as a commercial lender. He has managed commercial loan portfolios in excess of $500 million of exposure. Mr. Caswell rapidly became the youngest Vice President of Business Banking at Bank of America and was awarded numerous honors for top business treasury management.
Mr. Caswell has vast experience in business development, strategic partnerships and operations, and has been called upon to turn around underperforming bank branches into top performing businesses. In 2006, Mr. Caswell was recruited by the South Carolina Bank and Trust to start their commercial loan production division, which became the fastest profit center in company’s history. In 2007, Mr. Caswell moved to Sarasota with Marshall & Isley Bank to develop the firm’s strategic entry to the Sarasota market.
Mr. Caswell has been a business consultant for over ten years and currently provides technical assistance to businesses on behalf of the US Small Business Administration (SBA).
