Jim Stikeleather has designed, developed and implemented award-winning information and communications technologies. He’s started and grown multiple companies including one reaching 36th on the Inc. 500. Jim has successfully led technology start-ups and turnarounds as well as technology organizations within large global enterprises. He is author, contributor and subject of numerous books.  He speaks and consults internationally on digital infrastructures, evaluation of emerging technologies, innovation and strategic guidance on information technology application to achieve business outcomes. He is a regular blogger for multiple sites and publications with hundreds of articles worldwide including Harvard Business Review, Computerworld, and CIO while participating in international technology standards bodies, as well as advising a number of technology incubators. Jim’s current focus is deriving insights from complex adaptive systems theory, cognitive psychology, behavioral finance and economics combined with researching changes in capital formation, economic friction and social information flow to discover new business, organization, risk and management models needed in the future. Jim has severed in various capacities over the years from scientific and statistical programmer, operating system designer and developer, enterprise architect, CIO and CTO as well as business positions in marketing, consulting and management including President and CEO.
