Jonathan Fleece is a leading health care attorney, advisor, and professional speaker located in Tampa Bay Florida. His consulting services include advising health care companies how to strategically plan for success during the sweeping changes that are coming in health care over the months and years ahead. Mr. Fleece engages with clients to optimize their performance in the areas of strategic planning, operations, legal compliance, and maximizing profits. He is also an expert in health care reform and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
He received his Law Degree and Certificate in Health Law Studies from St. Louis University School of Law. Mr. Fleece, a shareholder with the Blalock Walters law firm, is a Florida Board Certified Health Care attorney, and has years of experience in various health care settings, including a non-profit academic medical center with a large physician group practice and hospital. Mr. Fleece has extensive experience providing strategic counsel to numerous companies in the health care space, including physician medical groups, hospitals, hospice providers, physical therapy companies, pharmacies, medical device companies, behavioral health groups, health care management companies, insurance companies, independent practice associations (IPAs), accountable care organizations (ACOs), and ancillary health care providers.
Mr. Fleece is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar, the Missouri Bar, the Illinois Bar, American Health Lawyers Association, the Manatee County Bar Association and the Sarasota County Bar Association. He serves as special counsel to various Medical Societies in Florida. Jonathan currently serves on the Board of Directors of Tidewell Health Systems, Inc. He is Board Chairman for the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce and Past Chair of the Chamber’s Health Care Committee. Mr. Fleece is Past-Chair of the Manatee County Economic Development Council. He is a prior Ear Research Foundation Director, and is a former Vice Chair of We Care Manatee, Inc. He is past member of the Florida Bar Health Law Certification Committee.
